HORSEBACK RIDE IN MARIA PINTO’S VALLEY (HB-1)

Horseback ride for the day, in María Pinto’s Valley, rural area situated at only 1 hour of  Santiago, walking

for country roads and hills.

All the year round is possible to enjoy the peaceful of  country area, riding on excellent horses.

At the end of the excursion we will taste a typical chilean country “Once”.

HORSEBACK RIDE TO EL PANGUE & TAPIHUE (HB-2)

Horseback ride for 2 days, traveling by the colonial roads of the hills of the Coastal Mountain range, toward

the north of Curacavi . During this excursion we will pass through little country towns and Native forest.

Season of the year: Spring , Summer and Fall, ( from November to April).

21 de Mayo public park, Sotomayor Square, the oldest area, the Congress Building, O’ Higgins Square,

and the typical Atkinsons and Gervasonii streets.  From Valparaíso we will go to Viña del Mar, passing by

Perú Ave. and Costanera, seeing the Casino, Quinta Vergara and Museo de Bellas Artes. We will see the

sunset and we will come back to Santiago.

VISIT TO CONCHA Y TORO WINERY (CT-4)
 

The excursion consists of a visit to one of the largest and finest wineries in Chile, the Concha y Toro

Winery. It was founded in 1883 by the Marquis of Casa Concha, who appointed French enologist M. de

Labouchere to bring from France the best and most selected wine stock to the Maipo River Valley. During

the visit of the cellars, wine-testing will be offered. Afterwards we will have lunch in a typical Chilean

restaurant in Pirque.

VISIT TO COUSIÑO PALACE & COUSIÑO WINERY (CT-9)

Visit to the Cousiño Palace, nowadays museum, where it is possible to appreciated its ornament and

furniture from the time of splendor of the “salitre”  in Chile.

The progressive aristocrat, Luis Cousiño commissioned this mansion for his wife, Isidora Goyenechea,

and it was inaugurated  in 1878. The first electric plant to arrive in Chile from France, illuminated the halls

of the palace, and the first elevator of Chile were used here.

Many very important people has lodge in this palace time ago.

Afterwards the Cousiño Macul winery will be visited, to know the cellars and for a wine-testing.
